The Players NIL Announces Elizabeth & Ella Eastin as Philanthropy & Community Service Leaders, Rounding Out the Team of NIL Education Experts
Elizabeth & Ella Eastin join a team of subject matter experts that will oversee the Five-Pillars Course and help student-athletes achieve their NIL goals.
LOS ANGELES, CA – June 15, 2022 – The Players NIL is proud to announce that Elizabeth and Ella Eastin, a dynamic mother-daughter team, will oversee the Philanthropy and Community Service Pillar.
Philanthropy and Community Service is the fourth pillar in the flagship Five-Pillars course. Under the Eastins’ guidance, student-athletes will learn about the many benefits of giving back and the different opportunities and approaches to making a difference through participation in athletics and beyond.
Student-athletes need continuing education, timely resources, and ongoing support as the marketplace grows for paid NIL opportunities. The Players NIL places student-athletes at the center of this dynamic, evolving space and equips them with the know-how to make the best decisions about their NIL opportunities.
The Players NIL core curriculum guides student-athletes through an online, five-pillar course that provides a foundation for future NIL opportunities.
The Five-Pillars course includes the following subject matter experts:
- Brand Development – Dave Meluni, Syracuse University NIL professor
- Influencer and Brand Relations – Josh Rosen, Founder & CEO of TRG Sports
- Legal, Tax, and Compliance – Mit Winter, the nation’s leading authority on NIL’s legal challenges
- Philanthropy and Community Service – Elizabeth & Ella Eastin, leading philanthropic figures
- Financial Literacy – Ryan Schachtner, author of an Amazon best-selling book on financial literacy
Elizabeth Eastin, the Chief Development Officer for Laura’s House, a 501 © (3) nonprofit organization providing domestic violence-related services in Southern California, is credentialed as a certified fund-raising executive from CREF International and has more than 20 years experience overseeing philanthropic programs and fundraising events at nonprofit organizations and institutions of higher education.
“We are thrilled to have the opportunity to contribute to the dynamic team at the Players NIL and provide athletes with the tools they may need to deepen their engagement in the community and utilize their platform for positive change in the world,” said Elizabeth and Ella Eastin.
Ella Eastin, 12-time NCAA Swimming National Champion, four-time American record holder at Stanford University and former professional athlete with USA Swimming, is a motivational speaker and is pursuing a medical degree at Stanford School of Medicine.
“The Philanthropy and Community Service Pillar is of special importance to me. Part of our company’s legacy is to use athletics to better the lives of the people around us,” said Mark Koesterer, Founder of The Players NIL. “Our two pillar leaders are supremely positioned to lead this pillar. Experience at all phases of athletics, parenting, career guidance, and a true commitment to contributing to our communities. Welcome Elizabeth and Ella to the family.”
