She has two children - Austin, who wrote a number of successful pop songs and then started a popular band, Magic Giant, which has climbed the Alt-charts; and Elliott, who founded Summit, a noted international conference series for Millennial entrepreneurs and creatives, and led the purchase and development of Powder Mountain Ski Reosrt in Utah as a home for this community.
In writing her book, Margot extensively researched the early lives of entrepreneurs. She saw many similarities, some surprising, about how many of them were raised and which likely contributed to their future success in business.
